This coin business was first started by my late father back in 1950 and has since grown to become a mail only business concentrating on UK coinage (particularly Sovereigns as this was my father's main interest) but also world coins (Modern Greek,European Gold and South American Silver Dollars and British India Gold).Through the years I helped my father to conduct his business regularly visiting clients in London and establishing good business associates such as Stephen Fenton (Knightsbridge Coins) and the team at Spink.After his sad passage in 1999 I took over and decided to register my company in the UK (Companies House,England and Wales, registration No.5023830) as most of my clients are based here.
All coins are guaranteed genuine and although I grade in accordance with British standards as accurately as possible,the matter remains very subjective.I am not a member of BNTA however I abide by the association's code of ethics and grading.

My wife Anita is my valuable secretary responsible for many aspects such as cataloging,administrating,posting etc.We share our time between London and Athens.Most of the time you will find me in London (you can meet me by prior arrangement) and when traveling I always carry most of my stock with me to quickly fulfill orders.However coping with two locations can be stresfull and some minor delays may be expected.

We always use RM Special Delivery (£6.00) or Fedex (£30) and all coins are insured when in Post.Returns are accepted within 14 days for any reason.Returned coins must be in the same condition as when shipped and remain your responsibility until received.

Our  stock is regularly updated so please ensure you visit often to keep current.Alternatively you may subscribe to our News letter and keep up to date.

Methods of payment include personal cheques drawn on UK Banks only. Cheques payable to GK Coins Ltd.Please note that we require four working days for cheque clearance before posting.Paypal is also accepted at 3% surcharge.Paypal payments must be directed to: george@gkcoins.com.Direct payment to our UK account is also an option.Please email us for details.

We attend the London Coin Fair ( Holiday Inn,Coram Street,Bloomsbury,London) held in London in November, February and June each year and starting this year the Coinex.I look forward to meeting you all at my table.I also visit all major London events and Auctions where you can meet me by prior arrangement or simply call me on my mobile.
